Welcome to Nitagni. By accessing or using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users, including visitors, customers, and registered account holders.

Nitagni is a brand dealing exclusively in 925 sterling silver jewellery, registered and operating in Delhi, India. References to 'we', 'us', and 'our' refer to Nitagni. References to 'you' and 'your' refer to the customer or website visitor.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order or using our website, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
All information you provide during registration or purchase is accurate, complete, and current.

Nitagni reserves the right to refuse service, cancel accounts, or reject orders at its sole discretion.

3. Product Information & Authenticity

3.1 Material Authenticity All jewellery sold by Nitagni is crafted from genuine 925 sterling silver, meaning each piece contains a minimum of 92.5% pure silver. We are committed to transparency in material quality and craftsmanship.

3.2 Product Descriptions We strive to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing on our website are as accurate as possible. However:

Slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to photographic or screen display limitations.
Handcrafted pieces may exhibit minor natural variations that are characteristic of artisan silver work and are not considered defects.
Dimensions and weights are approximate and may vary slightly.

3.3 Hallmarking Our silver jewellery is in compliance with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarking guidelines. Hallmark details, where applicable, will be mentioned on the product listing.

4. Pricing, Taxes & GST

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.

Nitagni's GSTIN is 07ANIPT1161C1Z7. A GST-compliant tax invoice will be issued for every purchase. You may request a copy of your invoice by contacting us.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable at the time of order confirmation shall be the final binding price.

As per Government of India guidelines, customers may be required to provide their Permanent Account Number (PAN) for purchases exceeding the threshold prescribed by applicable law.

5. Orders & Contract Formation

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Nitagni via email or SMS. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including after confirmation, for reasons including but not limited to:

Product unavailability or stock errors.
Suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity.
Errors in product pricing or description.
Failure to verify payment.

In the event of cancellation after payment, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days via the original payment method.

6. Payment Terms

We accept payment through all major methods, including UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and other options as listed at checkout. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways.

Nitagni does not store your card or banking details. All payment information is handled directly by our payment service providers in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Orders will only be processed after successful payment confirmation. Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available for select pin codes at our discretion.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We ship across India and to select international destinations. Estimated delivery timelines are:

Domestic (within India): 5 to 10 business days from dispatch.
International: 10 to 21 business days, subject to customs clearance.

Delivery timelines are indicative and may be affected by force majeure events, public holidays, or courier delays. Nitagni is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics providers.

All shipments are insured and tracked. Risk of loss and title for products ordered pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

Customs duties, import taxes, and other levies applicable for international orders are solely the responsibility of the customer.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

8.1 Return Policy We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is:

Unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
Returned in original packaging with all tags and certificates intact.
Accompanied by the original invoice and a valid reason for return.

8.2 Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Earrings and nose pins (for hygiene reasons), once tried on.
Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order jewellery.
Items purchased during sale or with a discount coupon, unless defective.
Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

8.3 Defective Products If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at no charge to you.

8.4 Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

9. Warranty & Care

Nitagni provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by normal wear and tear.
Tarnishing resulting from exposure to perfume, sweat, chemicals, or water.
Physical damage due to improper use or storage.

To maintain the quality and lustre of your 925 silver jewellery, we recommend storing it in an airtight pouch or box, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Clean gently with a soft silver polishing cloth.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Nitagni website, including product images, designs, text, graphics, logos, and the overall look and feel of the website, is the exclusive intellectual property of Nitagni and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 of India.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content without prior written consent. Unauthorised use may constitute copyright infringement and may result in legal action.

11. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

By using our website, you agree not to:

Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or information.
Interfere with the operation of the website, including through viruses, bots, or malicious code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of the product purchased in that transaction.
